Two More Children Killed in Unintentional Shootings

A three-year old Collierville, Tennessee boy, who found a loaded gun while with a family member in a car in a local parking lot, shot himself. He later died at the hospital.  Tennessee is a state with notoriously weak gun safety laws.

Alea Briones of San Antonio, Texas, 17, died after she was unintentionally shot in the stomach in a San Antonio, Texas home.  The shooter was allegedly taking a gun apart when the incident occurred. Texas is another state with weak gun safety protections.  An investigation is ongoing.
