Stray Bullets Injure Two People
A 40-year-old woman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is in critical condition after being hit in the face by a stray bullet. She was parking her car and appears to be the innocent victim of a nearby road rage incident. A 24-year-old man, a participant in that incident, was also shot and is in critical condition. According to police, no weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made.
In New Haven, Connecticut, a 17-year-old girl was struck by a stray bullet at a stunt driving show held in a Lowe’s parking lot. When reckless drivers started hitting pedestrians, she ran from the area, heard a gunshot, and realized she’d been hit. She was treated at the hospital and is expected to survive. Police continue to investigate.
