14-year-old Girl Accidentally Shot and Killed by Older Sister

Natavia Lewis, age 14, of Fort Worth, Texas, was accidentally shot and killed by her 21-year-old sister today. The two girls had found a gun in a closet at their home.  They believed that the weapon was not loaded, but when the trigger was pulled, it went off.  According to investigators, it is unclear who the gun belonged to.

“Everything going on nowadays has a gun involved in it,” a neighbor said.  Just three days ago, Rio Carrington, an Arlington, Texas two-year-old, found a loaded gun at home and shot and killed himself.
