Two People Hurt by Single Shot Accidentally Fired at a Bar

In Seneca, Illinois, two people were hurt by a single round accidentally fired at “3rd Bar.” Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Neither person suffered life threatening injuries.

5-year-old Kills Self With Father’s Loaded Glock Found Under Pillow

Travell Daniels, 29, was watching his 5-year-old son for the weekend in a home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Daniels laid the child down for a nap in his bedroom and went downstairs to watch television. Shortly after, he heard a loud bang and returned to the room to find the child with a gunshot wound to the head. The boy died later at the hospital. Daniels told police that he hid his Glock 23 under a pillow in his bedroom, usually with a round in the chamber. He faces a charge of neglect of a dependent causing death.
