Three Gun Accident Injuries in Three Cities
In Wolf Creek, Montana, a 74-year-old man was struck and injured when a round fired while his friend was cleaning a gun. The friend, a 54-year-old woman, said she was cleaning the gun and set it on the table and it fired, striking the man. No charges were filed.
In Amarillo, Texas, a school was placed on lockdown after a student was struck and injured by gunfire on a tennis court near the school. Some rounds were fired near the court and the student, who appears to have been an innocent bystander, suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his hand.
Witnesses say that a Nashville, Tennessee man was handling a gun when it went off and he was struck in the chest. He suffered critical injuries and is being treated at the hospital.
