Virginia Gun Cleaning Accident Leaves a Woman Dead

In Virginia Beach, Virginia, 19-year-old Jaiden Litton was charged with manslaughter after 21-year-old Heavonlei Grant was shot in the chest and killed.  Court documents said Litton told investigators that he was attempting to unload Grant’s gun that day, and while unloading, he pointed the gun at her. He told them Grant tried to move the gun and when she did it “went off” and killed her. Grant’s mother also said that the shooting was an accident.
