Three Children and an Adult Hurt in Gun Accidents

In Fresno, California, a man beat up his friend after the friend accidentally shot the man’s three-year-old child in the leg. The man was both arrested and taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries suffered in the beating.

A Tulsa, Oklahoma 17-year old was taken to the hospital after suffering accidental gunshot wounds resulting from “horseplay” with a gun. The victim’s condition in unknown.

In Raleigh, North Carolina, there was another accidental shooting involving an individual who was carrying a concealed weapon at the mall.  According to officials, an investigation found that an unknown loud noise caused visitors to move to safety. A man carrying a concealed weapon then accidentally shot himself while moving to a safe location.

Finally, in St. Louis, Missouri a 13-year-old girl was shot in the cheek by a younger sibling who had found a loaded weapon. The incident has been ruled an accident.
