Man Shoots off Pinkie Finger with Glock
In Crawford County, Pennsylvania, a man in the parking lot of a state recreational area removed his Glock pistol from the holster and separated the loaded magazine from the gun but failed to clear the chamber, according to state police. He was then handling the gun and looking at it when, at some point, he touched the trigger and unintentionally fired the round still left in the chamber. The round hit him in the left pinky finger, which he wrapped in a shirt before driving himself to the local hospital for treatment. The report is unclear about whether the finger was reattached.
