Two eleven-year-old girls were struck and injured by random gunfire today in separate incidents.
In Pittston, Pennsylvania, an unidentified girl is in critical condition after being struck in the shoulder by a bullet that passed into the clubhouse of her apartment complex. The round was fired in a bathroom at the complex and passed through a wall before striking the child.
In Syracuse, New York, another 11-year-old was struck by a round that passed into her home from outside. She was also struck in the shoulder and is expected to survive.
