Indianapolis, Indiana is currently undergoing a wave of gun violence.  Ten people have been shot and killed in just the first six days of October.

The crisis is exacerbated, as usual, by unintended gun violence.  A recent Indianapolis news report about four gun violence incidents in less than 8 hours suggests that at least three victims were shot unintentionally, including two innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire of two opposing groups.
