Two gun accidents involving animals occurred today.

In West Palm Beach, Florida a police officer attempting to fire at an attacking pit bull accidentally shot and injured a fellow officer.  Apparently, the round fired passed through the dog and into the officer that was being attacked.

And in Kenyon, Minnesota, officers reported that a drunk man attempting to shoot a cat, accidentally shot himself instead. The man was airlifted to the hospital.
