Three more young people were unintentionally shot and killed today.

In Detroit, Michigan, 14-year old Kaniyah Bryant was unintentionally shot and killed by her 13-year old boyfriend.  According to police, the two children were among a group who were passing around and playing with a stolen gun when the 13-year old shot Kaniyah.  She was pronounced dead at the scene and he was charged with manslaughter.

In Montgomery, Alabama, police were called to the hospital where a juvenile boy was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound. An investigation revealed that the boy had been accidentally shot.  Police have not released the boy’s age.

And in Memphis, Tennessee, Shamon Lancaster was unintentionally shot by his 20-year old friend Larricko Brown.  The two men were apparently playing around by pointing guns at each other when Brown’s went off.   Three other friends attempted CPR, but “it was too late.”  Brown has been charged with reckless homicide.
