Two Louisiana teenagers were shot and injured accidentally today.  Neither  report indicates the extent of the child’s injuries nor how the teenagers got access to a gun. 

In Luling, Louisiana, police reported that a 17-year old accidentally shot himself.  Police noted that there was no threat to the public but that the community should expect to see an increased police presence near the site of the accident.

In Shreveport, a teenager was shot by a friend who was handling a handgun.  His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
