In Minneapolis, Minnesota, Fong Vang, age 40, was charged with manslaughter after he accidentally shot and killed his younger brother Dan.  Fong was staying with his siblings and his mother temporarily and was sleeping on the floor.  When he heard a loud noise in the middle of the night, he fired multiple rounds through the door.  Dan was shot in the neck and hand and died at the scene.

Fong told investigators that he does not know what caused him to fire the gun.  Police responded after a man was reported screaming for help, saying he’d just shot his brother.
