Yaniel Rivera, age 11, of Cleveland, Ohio was found dead in a Cleveland home after being shot in the abdomen.  Police are investigating the incident as a likely unintentional shooting on the basis that Yaniel got access to an unsecured firearm.  No arrests have been made.

Yaniel is the fourth Cleveland child to die in a gun violence incident already this year. And a 14-year old girl was shot in the face just yesterday while she and a friend were playing with a gun.  That girl remains hospitalized.
