Eight-year old Tiana Huddleston or Milwaukee, Wisconsin was shot and killed today by random gunfire.  The Acting Mayor of Milwaukee referred to the incident as “mistaken gunfire,” perhaps ignoring that almost all gunfire, other than at practice ranges, is mistaken or worse.

He added, “[p]lease, put down the guns. If you have a gun in your home, secure it with a trigger lock or in a safe. Never, never handle a gun near children.”
