In Murray, New York, a 50-year old man with an unholstered Ruger semiautomatic pistol in the pocket of his shorts accidentally shot himself in the thigh while repositioning trailers.  The accident occurred when the man was putting on his seatbelt.  Police took the man to the hospital for treatment.
