A Newark, New Jersey eight-year old was playing with a loaded gun he found in his home when it fired and killed him.  According to law enforcement, the incident is being treated as a “horrible accident.”  Police are investigating whether the gun was legal and how the child got hold of it.

“The 8-year-old was described by neighbors as a friendly child who would often come outside whenever the ice cream truck came around.”  His identity has not been released.
