In Cincinnati, Ohio, another child was shot in a gun accident today.  The child’s injuries are not considered life threatening.  There have been a particularly large number of accidental shootings involving Ohio children over the last 20 months, with many of those shootings occurring in Cincinnati.

In Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Alexander Lewis Heaps acknowledged mishandling a “legally purchased semi-automatic handgun.”   He accidentally shot 20-year old Hailey Jean Brown in the hip.  She was found on the floor by police and transported to the hospital for emergency surgery.
