In Tulsa, Oklahoma, a man was accidentally shot through an apartment wall when the people next door tussled with a gun. The victim later died at the hospital.
The deadly incident originated in domestic violence. Corry Lykes told authorities that he had threatened his girlfriend with a taser. When she then tried to take Lykes’ pistol and leave the apartment, there was a tussle and the gun went off, striking their neighbor in the next apartment.
Lykes has been arrested and charged with first degree manslaughter and reckless handling of a firearm. His girlfriend was arrested on unspecified charges.
