In Dallas, Texas, a ten-year old boy who found a gun in his home accidentally shot himself.  His father originally claimed to police that the boy had been struck by a bullet fired by someone else while he was playing in the yard. 

Police say that there is a chance that charges will be filed for allowing the child to have access to the gun.  The boy was taken to the hospital and later released.
