Two teenage boys and a 24-year old woman were killed today in separate gun accidents.
In Houston, Texas, 16-year old Chase Swain was killed while he and his friend were playing with a gun that had been stolen the day before. A 17-year old has been charged with manslaughter.
In Nashville, Tennessee, 19-year old Juerno Brown, Jr. was shot and killed in an incident that occurred when Brown and two other friends were handling guns. The teenager who fired the gun turned himself in.
And a 21-year old Phoenix, Arizona woman who was partying with three friends accidentally shot her sister when she picked up a gun that had fallen on a couch. She was concerned that one of her friends would sit on the gun. Dejahnique Jackson, age 24, was killed when the gun went off. Her sister has been charged with manslaughter.
