In Hartford, Connecticut, a three-year old boy died today when someone fired into the car in which he was riding.  The boy’s mother and two other young children were in the car at the time of the incident.  A male passenger was also present, but he ran off after the shooting.  According to police, the passenger may have been the intended target.

Our whole city’s heart breaks for the families of this little boy and this young man. These are crimes that wound our entire community.” Hartford’s Mayor said during an evening press conference. “I am heartbroken and I am angry.”
