Cojuan Singleton, a 12-year old San Antonio, Texas boy, accidentally killed himself with his brother’s gun today.  Singleton’s older brother, who owned the pistol, told police he was cleaning the gun and had put it down.  Seconds later, Singleton picked it up and accidentally fired it.  He was struck in the head.

It is unclear why there was a round in the chamber while the gun was being cleaned.  The name and age of Singleton’s brother were not reported.  Singleton’s parents were at work at the time of the accident.
