Two children found guns in their homes and accidentally shot and killed themselves today.
In Saginaw, Michigan, a five-year old boy found a gun. According to police, he died of “self-inflicted gunshot wounds.” They have called the incident a “tragic accident.” While they investigate to determine how the boy got ahold of the gun, “their thoughts and prayers go out to the child’s family and the community.”
In Auburn, California, a man is under arrest after a teenager obtained his gun. The 14-year old was showing the gun to his friends when it fired and killed him. “It’s still kind of raw,” a neighbor said. “As far as the family goes, I’ll continue to pray for them,” he added.
