A four-year old Burgaw, North Carolina boy died Tuesday afternoon after an accidental shooting in his home.  According to the report, he was taken to a local hospital in a family vehicle and then flown to a regional hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There is an ongoing investigation.  The circumstances of the shooting have not been released pending an autopsy.
