In Ogden Utah, a woman was shot in both legs in yet another shooting range accident.  The bullet nicked an artery and her injuries will require surgery. 

A police sergeant said, “[a]n adult male set his gun down and forgot it was loaded. He went to open it up to take it apart, and the bullet went through three separate bays and struck an adult female ….”   He added that  the man with the pistol “is experienced with guns and was almost in shock when he realized what had happened.”

No charges will be filed because police determined that the incident was an accident.

On the same day at a different Ogden range, a man was cleaning his gun when it fired and struck him in the hand. Earlier this week, there were several accidents, including death of a child, during target practice.
