An unidentified Houston, Texas boy who was playing with a gun in front of his friends, accidentally shot himself in the stomach.  He later died of his wounds at the hospital.  According to authorities, it is unclear who owned the gun. 

This is the ninth tragic gun accident in the Houston area that we’ve reported on this year.
