In Dunmor, Kentucky, a 15-year old boy was killed when a firearm accidentally discharged while he was target shooting with a friend and his friend’s mother on their property.  The Kentucky State Police investigated and concluded:

“it was an accidental discharge.  Detectives are working to determine exactly how the incident happened. No one has been charged with a crime. It is truly a tragic situation.”

No information was provided about the make and model of the gun that accidentally discharged or about the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
